Young Engineers: Bricks Challenge - $180 +HST

Grades: 1 - 5

Dates: Wednesdays, beginning April 11th (6 weeks), 5:15 - 6:30 pm

 

Using stories and simple demonstrations to spark imagination and critical thinking, Bricks Challenge is Young Engineers’ most popular enrichment program. With the use of LEGO® building blocks in conjunction with other tools and mechanical parts, our specially trained educators inspire youth participants while teaching theoretical and applied principles of science, technology, mechanical engineering and math (STEM). The Write Stuff - $175 +HST

Grades: 1 - 3

Dates: Thursdays, beginning April 12th (8 weeks), 5:30 - 6:30 pm

 

Primary students are invited to join in the writing fun! Sessions will include moving from simple sentences to super ones, simple paragraph structure, creative writing, and more!

 

Early Reading Skills Part 1 - $175 + HST

Grades: SK - Grade 2

Dates: Mondays, starting April 9th (8 weeks), 4:30 - 5:30 pm,

                 Tuesdays, starting April 10th (8 weeks), 4:30 - 5:30 pm,

                 Thursdays, starting April 12th (8 weeks), 4:30 - 5:30 pm,

                 Saturdays, starting April 14th (8 weeks), 10 - 11 am

 

Have your child join us for this 8 week session to build the essential, foundational skills needed to become a confident and successful reader. Sessions will be filled with activities, games, and reading practice to increase your child's fluency.

 

Early Reading Skills Part 2 - $175 + HST

Grades: 2 - 3

Dates: Mondays, starting April 9th (8 weeks), 5:30 - 6:30 pm

 

This 8-week course is designed to follow our Early Reading Skills Part 1. Students will continue to build upon the foundational skills needed to become a fluent and successful reader.  Emphasis will be placed on reading passages which increase in

length and a variety of comprehension skills.

 

Wizardry of Writing - $160 + HST

Grades: 3+

Dates: Thursdays, starting April 12th (6 weeks), 6:45 pm - 7:45 pm

 

Students in grades 3+ are invited to join us for this 6-week session that will take their writing from simple to spectacular. Over the six weeks, students will work through a variety of engaging activities and practices to improve their writing abilities. Topics include: generating ideas, organizing your thinking, crafting great sentences/paragraphs and spicing up your writing.

 

Early Math Foundations - $175 + HST

Grades: 1-3

Dates: Tuesdays, starting April 10th (8 weeks), 5:45 - 6:45 pm

 

Early Math Foundations focuses on the basic numeracy skills and strategies needed to become proficient in math.  Sessions will be filled with engaging activities, games, and guided practice to increase your child's level of speed, accuracy & confidence.

 

Math Foundations 2 - $175 + HST

Grades: 3+

Dates: Tuesdays, starting April 10th (8  weeks), 6:45 - 7:45 pm

 

Math Foundations Part 2 focuses on the higher level numeracy skills and mental math strategies needed to increase proficiency in mathematics. Sessions will focus on addition/subtraction, multiplication/division and problem solving. Classes are filled with engaging activities, games and guided practice to increase your child’s speed, accuracy and confidence.

 

Kindergarten Basics - $175 + HST

Grades: JK/SK

Dates: Saturdays, starting April 14th (8  weeks), 9 - 9:45 am

 

We welcome JK & SK students to our classroom for this 8 week session.  Classes are spent developing early literacy (e.g.,

letter recognition, letter sounds, early sight words, handwriting, etc.), and numeracy skills (e.g., number recognition,

counting, simple operations, patterning, number composition, etc.) in a fun, engaging, and meaningful way.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

To guarantee a spot in your program of choice, full payment must be received at the time of registration.  Payment is non-refundable at anytime.  A $25 (+HST) Administration Fee will be applied for any transfer or credit request following the date of registration.  30 days prior to the commencement of the term, there are no transfers or class credits issued.  Class credits will not be issued due to illness or student scheduling conflicts.
